“One Tough Ride” uncovers the story of the men and the mission of the OV-10 Bronco. OV-10 creators K.P. Rice and Bill Beckett tell the OV-10’s
difficult journey from idea to final output. Pilots, back seaters and mechanics from all three branches of the military tell their stories of working
and living with the plane. Recon men describe being saved by one.
The past meets the present when the OV-10 Bronco Association in Ft. Worth, TX accepts delivery of two OV-10’s in 2005 and begin the process of
restoration. Unloading and rebuilding these planes preserves the Bronco’s history. It also restores the personal connections lost for decades after
Vietnam, the Cold War and Desert Storm.
Jami Mari Clayman, nicknamed “Hollywood” by the OV-10 Bronco Association, is a TV producer and production manager living in Dallas, TX.
She has worn almost every production hat in her career and produced nationally broadcast television shows for the past four years. Her most
enjoyable experience was working as the production manager for the Texas episode of “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.” The episode
airs in March. The Bizarre Foods website will soon include Andrew interviewing Jami about her experience working on the Texas episode.
